Adam Scott is closer than ever to achieving a lifelong dream of being the number one golfer in the world.

Currently ranked number two, the Australian has the chance to overtake Tiger Woods as the world's best golfer at this weekend's WGC Cadillac Championship.
However, in order to get there he will need to win the event at Blue Monster in Doral, Florida, while Woods will need to finish outside of the top 10.
The 38-year-old American, though, might not even tee off on Thursday as he is suffering from back spasms. The problem forced the 14-time major champion to pull out of the final round of the Honda Classic over the weekend.
"I need treatment every day until Thursday to try to calm it down," Woods said. "We'll see how it is."
Should Woods fail to recover, it will make Scott's job a lot easier as he looks to become the first Australian since Greg Norman to hold top spot in the world rankings.
"Being world No.1 is more a dream than a goal. It's something I told myself as a kid playing at Twin Waters (as a junior on the Sunshine Coast) or even younger in the street with a plastic golf club that I wanted to be world No.1," Scott said after his victory at the Australian PGA.
"The process of getting there is winning tournaments. I've never been closer so I have to keep pushing on.
"I would love to be No.1. I think it can definitely happen and I think my game is not far from being No.1 in the world."
