The just-released “Jack Nicklaus Guide to the 2013 Masters” is the  third installment in a series of Jack Nicklaus-branded magazines  published by Boston Hannah and licensed by the Nicklaus Companies.
The new guide details Jack’s record six Masters Tournament victories,  paying special tribute to the 50th anniversary of his first Green  Jacket. That 1963 win, as well as the other five, are vividly  illustrated by renowned sporting artist Walt Spitzmiller, with images  from his upcoming book, “Jack’s Majors.”
The magazine also reflects on Heroes of the Masters, recognizing the  only eight players in history to win more than two Green Jackets,  including: Jack Nicklaus (6), Arnold Palmer (4), Tiger Woods (4), Jimmy  Demaret (3), Sam Snead (3), Nick Faldo (3), Gary Player (3), and Phil  Mickelson (3).
While the magazine looks back, it also looks ahead to this year’s  Masters Tournament and profiles some of the contenders, such as former  winners Angel Cabrera, Trevor Immelman, Charl Schwartzel, Bubba Watson,  Mickelson and Woods. It also looks at those vying for their first Green  Jacket, including Keegan Bradley, Luke Donald, Dustin Johnson, Matt  Kuchar, Rory McIlroy and Justin Rose. A special section highlights  Watson, who recorded an emotional victory in 2012, winning his first  Green Jacket with a remarkable shot from amid the pines in a playoff.
Just as the past “Jack Nicklaus Guides” have done, the magazine  provides helpful playing tips using illustrations by famed artist Jim  McQueen, whose original images are being featured monthly by Golf Digest.
